Hi I have WOAI running. In order to get correct traffic to appear at Taxi2Gate’s KSEA, I disabled the P3D traffic.bgl, any ORBX traffic BGL’s and also the WoAI bgl’s so that the traffic file specific to T2G’s addon would take charge. This seems to work fine. To disable them I just changed the filenames but left them in situ.

Though FSX will happily accept FS9 traffic files, i.e. Any file with a Traffic*.bgl filename format (the same filename format FSX uses), doing so will suppress any and all FSX-format traffic files. It's better to not use any FS9 traffic at all, or if you do, convert it to FSX format before installing the bgl.

Convert Fs9 Traffic Files To Fsx Planes

Same situation at FlightBeam’s KSFO. WoAI, P3D and ORBX traffic files are disabled, and I am getting traffic.

However I want to edit the flightplans for the airport so I can convince WoAI’s “FEDEX but not really” aircraft to fly to KSFO. The trouble is I cannot see a traffic file for Flightbeam’s KSFO anywhere, and the bgl editor was not able to find anything it regarded as a traffic file for T2G KSFO. The editor was one I downloaded, called something like afpi or afpl, can't remember. That leaves me wondering what's actually driving the traffic there. As the traffic is clearly working, is there some way to find out which traffic file P3D is currently using? I want to find the file its referring to and then edit in the “Fake Fedex” aircraft (called things like “Baron Air”, “Mountain Air”, “Corporate Air Services” or something). I’ve been able to change the aircraft.cfg for each so the parking spot data is right (“FDX”), but now I need to convince them to fly to KSFO.

Cheers • • • • •. I'm not sure how the world of AI.bgls are compiled, but I'm assuming that since you download each airline individually they should have separate.bgls for each airline. Using the AIFP program, open up the FedEx file (if you have one) and you can edit the existing flight plans there. You can change the arrival/departure airports to SFO in the editor window, you can also add completely new flight plans to the FedEx bgl. Once you compile the aircraft you added should show up. Some times you need to be patient to see them though. Hi Codee, thanks so much for responding!

Yes you're right, each airline has its own file. I have almost all of them deactivated, so would I be right in thinking that if the related aircraft show up at KSEA its being driven by KSEA's own specific file put in by Taxi2Gate? With KSFO I think my problem at the moment is I am learning the AIFP program. I am pretty sure I got to the windows you mentioned [flight plans 1st window, Airports second, aircraft type third] and it was indeed 'Mountain Air', one of the fake fedex bgl's, which I tried leaving active. However I could not figure out how to add KSFO as an airport in the second window unless I made it a reroute from KSAN. I tried tweaking the time of day but nothing wanted to turn up to play. Do you need to essentially add a full new flight plan before it will let you add an airport?

I will try compiling again, but I think I feel an RTFM coming on:D Thanks again • • • • •. I also have the T2G ksea, but I don't recall having a traffic.bgl with it. How did you deactivate the files? IIRC if they still have 'traffic' in the file name the sim will still read them.

Something you can try, just to get used to AIFP for now as it is easier than editing existing legs, after you load up the bgl click on the start new flight plan button, and you should be able to add in several legs between (for example) KSFO and KMEM Another thing that helps, for traffic you always want to see, you can edit the% number in the top left corner (if I remember right) that number is for traffic density. If the number is set to say 45% in order to see that plane on that route your traffic slider in the sim needs to be at or above 45%, so I usually set that to 1. For the WoAI files, they all started with the word traffic, so I just changed that to 'raffic', same with the P3D one too. I will double check and see what the ORBX ones are called as well, maybe P3D is still somehow reading one of them!

Interesting point on the absence of the KSEA file, that suggests strongly that something is still functioning. Is there a proper way to turn them off? I have seen some BGL's with '.off' (or was it 'inactive'? Can't remember) tacked on the end.

Thinking about it, I had a similar thing with CYVR. I got no traffic at first, but IIRC the FSDT dev said CYVR has its own traffic that will conflict with other traffic files, so maybe that's where I got the idea KSEA has the same. I will give the create new flight plan method a shot tonight and let you know how I get on! Thanks again, really appreciated • • • • •.

Thanks ananaba, I'm ok for the location but am struggling to understand where P3D KSFO is taking orders from:) Pretty sure i deactivated the woai bgl's, as well as the P3D and ORBX ones. I also had the ORBX NA AI package but deactivated it. Somehow though i have woai aircraft (which i want) but can't get the fedex ones to show. The woai traffic bgl for them shows arrivals at KSFO but changing sim time to match doesnt work, so my guess is there is some erroneous bgl calling the shots. Apparently the FSX SDK used to have a traffic explorer tool that showed which bgl was being used.

I cant figure out P3D's SDK though and don't want to risk breaking something by running dll's:( Any ideas? It looks like the woai bgl's were in control still despite changing traffic to 'raffic' in the file name. I moved them out the folder and all traffic stopped. John Coltrane Newport 63 Rar. Still doesnt explain why i cant convince the fedexes to park at their spots. I even used ADE to change them to the 'fake fedex' codes. Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin Mp3 Songs Free Download.

Aircraft are in the simobjects folder, checked the configs. I will check, maybe the fedexes are fs9, but as you say that normally culls everything. Sigh, I'll figure it out. As always thanks for your help!

On a mobile phone so excuse any spelling/formatting issues. Assuming P3D traffic files are basically FSX files, so here's what you can do: AI traffic files come in FS9 (FS2004) or FSX format. They cannot be run together.

Traffic files in FSX format take priority (I think.I may have that backwards but regardless, one of the filetypes if active blocks out the others). Unfortunately, there is no ready way to distinguish each format from the filename because they are both.bgl files. All WOAI files are in FS9 format. Yes, they have an FSX installer, but the files themselves are in 9 format. Most scenery-specific traffic these days such as with the Orbx products are FSX format. What you can do is the following: Option 1: Download AI Flight Planner (AIFP) and convert all traffic BGL files to FSX format. Then you can run any traffic together as long as all traffic files are in the FSX format.

All traffic files should be in your Scenery/World/Sceney folder, but you may want to double check the scenery folders of your specific airport addons. These files may not always have the word 'traffic' in the name. Realistically you can name them whatever you want (duplicate file names not withstanding) as long as the file is a '.bgl' file. Option 2: You can disable your FSX traffic files by renaming the.bgl extension for each applicable file to something else that's not valid, like.off or.bak. Again, you can see any variety of file names before the.bgl part of the name.
