Qt Sync Windows Download

I'm having the same problem running Mac OSX. I have the app installed, I have changed the port settings, I have copied the config file and all I have is a spinning sync symbol and 2-3 network connections.

Bitcoin Core initial synchronization will take time and download a lot of data. You should make sure that you have enough bandwidth and storage for the full block chain size (over 145GB). If you have a good Internet connection, you can help strengthen the network by keeping your PC running with Bitcoin Core and port. Looking for Windows version? Free Download; In English. Qt Sync Windows Download

When hovering over the synchronization symbol on the bottom right, it says 'Caching Up. Downloaded 0 blocks of transaction history. Last received block was generated 314 days ago.' This process has been going on now for several hours and I have not seen a progress bar at the bottom of the app like I see on so many other video tutorials. Hi can anyone assist on the following have left it to try and sync for 3 days but same errors Loading addresses. ERROR: CAddrman::Read(): open failed Invalid or missing peers.dat; recreating Loaded 0 addresses from peers.dat 2ms mapBlockIndex.size() = 1 nBestHeight = 0 setKeyPool.size() = 100 mapWallet.size() = 0 mapAddressBook.size() = 1 ThreadDNSAddressSeed started Loading addresses from DNS seeds (could take a while) ThreadIRCSeed exited ThreadSocketHandler started ThreadOpenAddedConnections started ThreadOpenAddedConnections exited ThreadOpenConnections started ThreadStakeMiner started Done loading 0 addresses found from DNS seeds ThreadDNSAddressSeed exited. MY SOLUTION - MY UPDATED CONFIG FILE (WIN 7) Copy the config file to the data directory C: Users USERNAME AppData Roaming bitconnect Okay I spent a couple nights working on this.

Thanks to Wedwo and RJohnson3 for their helpful posts. It appears that the CONFIG file is missing and not in the data directory. The 'install program' doesn't really install anything. It's more like a self executable that drops files into a hidden data directory in your user profile. Here's my solution for WIN 7 32- bit and 64-bit OSes. • First disable all firewall and anti-virus programs • Extract the Bitconnect program to a new folder under Program Files of your choice. Run the BitConnect-window executable once to create the data directory.

Then close it. • Find the hidden data directory C: Users* USERNAME* AppData Roaming bitconnect USERNAME=whatever you are logged in as • Download the config file provided by Wedwo and append it with rJohnson3's addresses. I will try to attach my config file here to help you. You can clean it up with a text editor. See the above link for my config file. • Copy the config file to the data directory C: Users USERNAME AppData Roaming bitconnect • Leave all firewalls off and run the program. • The program should connect within a couple mins.

Re-Run your program from the Program Files after installing the config file and create a shortcut for future use. Check the debug file Help Debug window Open Debug log and scroll all the way to the bottom to see the latest updates. It should say connecting to DIFFERENT addresses. If it only mentions one address, then the config file is not in the right place or not configured right. It should be trying to connect to multiple addresses. • You can add port forwarding (TCP, UDP port 9239) to your router but that's optional.

• Downloading should take about 3 hours + • Re-enable firewall. Add the program and port 9239 to a white list. You can always just use the default firewall in Windows 7. Easier to use. If the firewall or anti-virus gives you hell, just leave it off. I would not use your personal computer with all of your important files on it. Use a dedicated computer or junk computer.

BitConnect program = runs from the folder you choose (Program Files or anywhere) Data Supporting Directory = hidden in the user profiles. C: Users USERNAME AppData Roaming bitconnect You can see this in the debug file at the very top when it is first created. Can I buy your computer? I've done this method probably 100 times in the last 5 days and nothing works for me.

I have resorted to even buying a windows computer thinking that it simply doesn't work on a mac. Bought the computer and I'm still having the same problem. I don't know why this method works for everyone else, people post videos about this but for some this method doesn't work. Still only says 2-3 connections for the last 5 days, and not 1kb of the blockchain downloaded. I've already contacted support via support tickets and email but they won't reply.

However if you post anything they don't like on the comments board on their website, its gone within seconds. Go and try and post that you are having problems with the desktop wallet app and see how fast they remove it.

Yet 5 days later and they can't get to my ticket! I got the problem solved and this is how I got it. 1: download this file below 2: Go to command and type%appdata% ( you will find roaming file in the search bar) 3: Go to the: C: Users* USERNAME* AppData Roaming bitconnect 4: Drag and drop the file into the bitconnect folder 5: Run bitconnect as administrator 6: Once into bitconnect go to settings>network>and choose the default options ( Map port using UpnP 7: Close bitconnect 8: Open bitconnect again with run as administrator 9: Once in bitconnect open help>debug window 10: the number of connection should change to 1 or 3. 11: The progress report should start moving up downloading the blocks from the blockchain.

12: enjoy stacking! • Note: this will not work without the file or without doing step number 6. It took me a lot of time to get the wallet to work. If you have any question please don't hesitate to ask. I will try my best to help you.

Only users with PC not mac! If the file is not downloadable please send me a message.
